‘thoughts’
/telepathic speech/
Naria sighed softly as she finally stepped into the stadium
where the Dark Tournament was occurring. ‘Took me forever, but I made it
finally. Didn’t know it would be that HARD!’ she thought to herself in annoyance
as she walked in. Her leather long coat swirled around her ankles as she walked,
her hood over her face to keep it hidden from the demons that were watching her.
After finishing her business in Tokyo, Naria had followed some demons she had
overheard discussing plans on going to the Tournament. That was what she had
been hoping for, so had followed them to a portal that led to the island it was
being held on. Using her gift, she had distracted any demons that had taken an
interest in her as she had gone through the pathway, then had finally made it to
the stadium.
Looking around though, she saw that her ‘teammates’ were
indeed in grave trouble. The first team that Yuuske’s team was facing had
defeated one of Team Urameshi, but had lost to the next one. Now, they were
facing off against Hiei and, from the looks of it, it wasn’t going well.
‘Idiot…why doesn’t he move?’ she wondered as she stood at
the entranceway to the stadium and watched. She smirked then as Hiei used his
most powerful attack to destroy his opponent. ‘Ok…I take it back. But at what
cost….I’ll have to heal him later,’ she thought to herself as she closed herself
off from Hiei. His pain was almost sickening to her and she couldn’t
concentrate. She looked over and shook her head as she saw Yuuske sleeping.
“Dork…you never could get woken up easily,” she murmured softly as she watched
Botan yell at him to wake up.
She walked in silently, her eyes on the youth she had come
to love dearly, and went to his side. She saw the masked fighter and they
brushed minds.
/Naria…you’ve shown up finally./
/Yes, Genkai….sorry I took so long./
/That doesn’t matter…wake Yuuske up./
Naria smirked again as she looked at Yuuske while the
others were distracted by the newest competitor that had entered the ring.
Leaning in, she brushed her lips over his, chuckling softly as he responded
almost immediately and kissed her back just as gently. Leaning back, she smiled
as she saw him open his eyes sleepily. "Hey…wakie, wakie, love,” she whispered
softly as she winked.
“Mmm…what a way to wake up. Bout time you got here,” Yuuske
whispered sleepily as he smiled up at her. He cocked his head as he listened to
what was being mumbled, “New fighter?”
“Mmhmm…you’re up. Take care of him so we can…say hello
later,” Naria purred out as she got up gracefully.
“Oh yea…I like that one,” Yuuske replied with a chuckle,
then flipped up and into the ring just as his friends looked over.
“What the hell?! Where did he go?!” Kuwabara yelled in
shock as they saw the blank space that had once been inhabited with the
nigh-impossible-to-wake Yuuske. He stared at the long-coated stranger. “And who
the hell are you?!”
Naria crossed her arms over her chest as she watched Yuuske
face off with Chyuu. “I’m your alternate. Now shut up and pay attention,” she
snapped out softly as she watched Yuuske taunt the other fighter.
Kuwabara growled as he stomped over towards Naria. “Hey!
Who do you think you are, anyway?!” he yelled at her as he came over.
“Aw cool it, Kuwabara! She’s with me!” Yuuske called out as
he smirked at his opponent.
“SHE?!” Kuwabara yelled out as he stared at Yuuske.
“Urameshi!! Girls don’t fight!!”
“This one does…and very well I might add,” Yuuske replied
with a wink and a grin. He turned back to Chyuu and smirked. “Sorry bout
that…shall we play now?” he asked as he flexed his arms, loosening up.
“Don’t mind if we do, mate. Let’s see what ye got, eh?” the
tall man responded with a drunken leer as he sauntered over. He winked over at
Naria. “Hey baby…maybe after the fight, you and me can have a nice old ripper of
a time,” he suggested, then hiccuped.
“Sorry, she’s taken. Now, let’s go!” Yuuske snapped out,
surprising his teammates as he went on the attack. But he stopped as he lost
track of where Chyuu had gone, as the demon went spinning around him, moving too
swift to watch.
/Keep your eyes forward and use your sense, dork,/ Naria’s
voice teased through Yuuske’s mind and he smirked.
/Thanks, love…almost forgot,/ he replied as he stared
ahead, not seeing as he sensed his opponent’s ki. He felt a glimmer and jumped
just in time, but then got hit when Chyuu appeared in front of him again and
punched him rapidly in the stomach. With a cry of pain, Yuuske went down,
crashing into the ring floor.
“Aw man! How the hell?!” Kuwabara exclaimed in shock as he
watched. He looked over as he heard a soft snort. “What?!”
“Oh please…he’s had worse. Just shut up and pay attention,”
Naria replied rudely as she watched Yuuske.
Sure enough, Yuuske flipped to his feet then rolled his
shoulders. “Not bad…didn’t catch that second one. Now why don’t we put all the
cards on the table,” he suggested with a grin.
Chyuu grinned back. “All righty then, mate…let’s see what
ya got,” he answered before attacking. A swift round of punches and kicks ensued
between the two fighters, barely kept track on by the referee and the teams.
But, it was to be seen that they were in a stalemate, as, with one hit, they
knocked each other out of the ring.
Swiftly, they got back into the ring and faced off, panting
slightly. Chyuu suddenly spread his arms and legs and a strange glow surrounded
him. Yuuske cocked an eyebrow as he watched the other fighter warily. ‘What’s
going on?’ he wondered as he watched. He nearly fell over in exasperation as
Chyuu finished, then sat down, claiming a head rush. “Well what the hell?!” he
shouted at Chyuu, growling slightly. “Sheesh, all the big show and then nothing
for it!”
“Oh, sorry mate! Ya see, every time I do that, I forget to
breathe so I get dizzy. Just give me a minute and I’ll show you my punch,” Chyuu
replied as he waved his hand reassuringly. He stood up then and stretched. “Ah
now, mate…I’m sorry but yer gonna have ta die,” he stated with a grin as he
brought his hands together. Slowly, a glowing orange ball took shape between his
hands. He grinned at Yuuske as he made a wind up. “Nice knowin' ya, mate,” he
declared as Yuuske got into a defensive position before Chyuu pitched the ball.
Grunting, Yuuske blocked the ball barely, getting knocked
into the wall with the momentum and buried under rubble. The crowd cheered as
Yuuske’s team watched the pile grimly, waiting for signs of movement. The
referee began the count, then stopped in shock as the pile shifted and Yuuske
came out. He rolled his shoulder, smirking. “Not bad…that woulda hurt if I
didn’t take it the other way,” he commented before flipping into the ring.
“Ya liked that, eh? Have another!” Chyuu exclaimed as he
shot off another ball.
Yuuske grinned as he powered up, his finger glowing
brightly. “Spirit Gun!” he shouted as he blasted the ball to the side. He
couldn’t see as a flare of light blinded him temporarily, as well as dust and
debris.
/Yuuske…you do that again, and I’ll kick your ass hard! You
just missed me!/
Naria’s voice rang in his head and he eeped, looking over.
He rubbed his head, looking sheepish as he waved at his lover soothingly. “I’m
sorry!! I didn’t see you there!!” He stopped as he saw that Chyuu was sitting on
the edge, grinning charmingly at the now revealed Naria, for her hood had been
blown off with the backwash of the shot.
“Hey there, toots…you’re a beaut! What say we ditch this
loser and go do some other stuff, eh?” Chyuu asked with a grin as he winked at
her.
Naria sighed and rolled her eyes as Yuuske stomped over, growling. “HelLO!! I
said she’s taken!! Keep your eyes off!!” he yelled as he smacked at Chyuu’s
head. He growled then at Kuwabara. “You too, Kuwabara!!”
“Hey!! What about Keiko!? Are you cheating on her?!” Kuwabara cried indignantly
as he wiped his mouth from drooling over Naria. He glared at Yuuske. “How could
you, Urameshi?!”
“Oh please…start up the fight again before you both get
disqualified,” Naria ordered in a bored tone of voice as she sighed and looked
at her nails. But she smirked at Yuuske, eyes twinkling with mischief as he
grinned back.
“You heard the lady…let’s get back to the fight,” Yuuske
stated seriously as he glared at Chyuu as the other fighter stood up.
Chyuu grinned as he took his stance again. “Ya got that,
mate…let’s see who she’ll want more,” he suggested archly.
“She wants me…sorry,” Yuuske replied quietly, his eyes
flashing.
“We’ll see!” Chyuu yelled before powering up an even larger
energy ball. “Try this on!!” He shot the spirit ball at Yuuske.
“He can’t block that!! It’s too big!” Kuwabara shouted in
fear as they watched Yuuske power up.
“Watch and learn,” Naria murmured softly as she watched
avidly, smirking.
Mirroring her smirk inadvertently, Yuuske shot off his
attack. “Spirit Gun!! DOUBLE!!”
“What?! Double?!” Chyuu shouted in shock, then watched with
wide eyes as the second blast broke through the first two. A blinding light
flared up suddenly before clearing, revealing a blank ring.
“Were they…destroyed?” Kuwabara asked softly in shock.
“No, you fool…look,” Hiei replied derisively as he and
Kurama watched above them. The two fighters flipped down and landed in the ring,
looking like they had seen better days. They gazed at each other, then grinned
at the other.
“Yer all out, mate,” Chyuu commented with a chuckle.
“Yea…so are you,” Yuuske remarked as he grinned. They both
chuckled, then started laughing as their teammates and audience watched in
confusion.
“They’ve both used up everything…now it’s up to the old
fashioned way,” Kurama murmured in concern as he listened to the challenge Chyuu
made to Yuuske. A few tense moments later, the Fight Committee approved of the
draw breaker and soon, Yuuske and Chyuu, feet placed against daggers, were
punching each other with everything they had.
Kuwabara, so engrossed in what was happening, was startled
as he found a body wrapped around his own. He looked down in surprise as he
heard Keiko pleading with him to stop the fight. “I can’t, Keiko…it’s not my
place,” he responded, trying to soothe her.
“But why?! He’ll get killed!!” Keiko protested, trembling
as she looked at where Yuuske was fighting.
“That’s his choice, Keiko…and we must honor it,” Kuwabara
said solemnly as he gazed at his best friend.
“Keiko…if you truly honor him, you’ll understand and back
down. If you don’t…then why are you here?” Naria asked softly, coldly, as she
watched Yuuske as well.
Keiko looked at her, stunned, but then blinked as she saw
the pain on Naria’s face. ‘She’s hurting from this too, but she…understands him.
She knows he has to do this…’ she thought to herself in shock. She looked back
at the ring, feeling despair run through her as she watched.
Chyuu and Yuuske continued punching each other, but then
Chyuu took a different turn. His head shot forward, intending to head-butt
Yuuske into oblivion. But he was stopped as, with an angry cry, Yuuske met his
attack with his own head-butt. They stared at each other for a minute, then
slowly, Chyuu fell to the side, dazed. The referee announced Yuuske’s win
ecstatically and the crowd booed and jeered.
“Yuuske…ya won fair and square. Finish me off,” Chyuu
muttered softly and Yuuske looked over as Kuwabara came over and supported him.
Chyuu had sat up; his skull lined with blood from the impact with Yuuske’s hard
head. “That was the rules of the Dagger Duel,” he reminded as he looked up at
Yuuske.
“Nah…I’d like to fight ya again someday, Chyuu,” Yuuske
replied as he shrugged and grinned.
Chyuu smirked back at him. “Yer ok, Urameshi…it was a
pleasure,” he stated as he got up with his teammate’s help.
“Back at ya, Chyuu,” Yuuske answered with a smile before
they walked off. He stopped as the crowd’s booing and threats increased in
volume, threatening the losing team as they stepped out. Yuuske growled softly,
then screamed out, “SHUT UP!! IF YOU’VE GOT SOMETHING TO SAY…SAY IT TO MY FACE!!
OTHERWISE KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!!”
The crowd fell silent as they stared at the angered Yuuske
before he led the way off the field. Chyuu smiled softly, then turned with his
teammate and left as well.
“So…gonna tell us how you met this woman who is supposedly
our alternate?” Hiei asked pointedly as they walked down the hall to their hotel
room. Yuuske was currently leaning on Kuwabara, but Naria was next to him.
“She trained with me and Genkai. Believe me when I say
she’s good,” Yuuske explained with a grin at her, earning a small smile in
return.
“But she’s a girl!” Kuwabara protested as he glared
suspiciously at her.
“Yea and this girl could easily kick your ass into high
gear. Trust me, she’s needed,” Yuuske replied wryly as they came into their room
and he sat down gingerly. He looked up at Naria with a grin. “Also, she’s a
healer, so she’ll come in more than handy,” he added with a grin as she sat on
the arm of the couch he was sitting on.
She rolled her eyes at him. “Yea, maybe *after* I clean up,
Urameshi,” she commented as she cocked an eyebrow at him.
“Why? You didn’t fight,” Kuwabara stated with a sneer.
Naria cocked an eyebrow at him. “Just because you can’t see
it, doesn’t mean I didn’t,” she responded as she got up. She took off her coat
and put it over her arm.
“EW!! What is that?!” Kuwabara cried in disgust as they
looked at her. Her body was covered in different colors, some still wet.
“Demon blood. A couple of demons decided to play with the
‘little human’. Too bad they didn’t think,” Naria replied with a shrug.
“So what kind of demons? Innocent little worms?” Hiei asked
snidely as he sat near the window.
“Please excuse him…he doesn’t know when to trust a little,”
Kurama commented softly as he watched Naria.
“Don’t worry about it. I expected as much. Yuuske told me
all about you. And, by the way, it was a Kurorou demon and her partner Hieron
demon,” Naria replied nonchalantly.
“What the hell are those?! I can’t even say them!” Kuwabara
stated in disbelief.
“Two very powerful demons that normally pair up. Tough to
beat on any day,” Kurama answered, impressed. Hiei just hmphed softly and looked
out the window again.
Naria watched Hiei out of the corner of her eyes, then
reached up to her earring. “Since I can tell that you are a stubborn ass, Hiei,
take this jewel. It’ll give you all the healing you’ll need when you are ready
to accept its help,” she suggested as she tossed him the jewel. It glinted with
a soft green and gold glint as it flew to Hiei’s waiting hand. She smirked at
Kuwabara, Yuuske, and Kurama. “And if you’ll be patient, I’ll heal you three
after I’m clean,” she added before sauntering out of the room.
“That is one interesting woman you picked up, Yuuske,”
Kurama murmured in appreciation as he grinned at his friend. Yuuske chuckled
softly as he rubbed his head.
“Yea…but what about Keiko?! You cheater!! What’s she to you
anyways?! You two seemed awfully close!” Kuwabara cried suspiciously as he
glared at Yuuske.
Yuuske grinned softly as he closed his eyes before getting
up. “Naria…is someone I value deeply. Now…if you’ll excuse me! I am going to
take her example and take a shower!” he replied before dodging out, Kuwabara’s
indignant yells following him out. As he walked down the hallway though, he
frowned slightly. ‘What is she to me? She’s…my soul mate,’ he thought with a
soft smile. He came to a door that was opened somewhat and smirked. ‘Invite
indeed,’ he thought to himself happily as he pushed it open. He cocked his head
as he heard the shower running and, arousal rising fast, stripped and headed for
the bathroom.
*~~**~~*
Naria sighed softly as she washed her hair, moaning as the
hot water pounded on her. She tilted her head back as she cleaned her hair for
the third time, rinsing out the blood-tinted soap from her head with the hot
water. She didn’t even hear the curtains shift, so thus was surprised slightly
when strong arms wrapped around her and a kiss was placed on her neck. She
relaxed and chuckled softly. “Impatient?” she asked in a low voice and Yuuske
chuckled softly against her neck as he kissed up towards her ear.
“Could say that. It’s been a week…missed you,” Yuuske
murmured softly in her ear before licking lightly along the edge, feeling
himself grow harder with her moan of need.
“Missed…you too, love,” Naria whispered huskily as she
turned in his arms. She smirked as he winced, then chuckled. “You dork…you
should have waited till I healed you!” she stated as she wrapped her arms around
his waist, rubbing slowly against him as he returned the favor with a moan.
“Nah uh! And miss a chance to shower with you! Not on this
side of the Reikai!” Yuuske replied with a laugh, and then groaned.
“Dork. Well, since you are being an idiot, I guess I’ll
have to heal you now,” Naria commented with a sigh as she shook her head,
earning a chuckle from him. Slowly, she leaned her head in and traced his
scratches with her tongue. Slowly, they mended after her tongue went over them
and she worked her way over his face. She grinned as he moaned while she healed
his head from the head butt he’d taken from Chyuu, then moved her mouth down to
kiss him lightly before moving down.
Yuuske groaned softly as she licked down his chest. She
focused on his ribs, sucking slowly along each one and healing them as she went
along. Her hands brushed down his thighs and legs before coming up around the
backs of his legs as she moved down. Biting his lip on the sudden cry of
pleasure he wanted to give, Yuuske clutched her head as she began licking around
his arousal. His pain was gone, replaced by the searing heat of desire and need
that her hot mouth was inspiring as she went down on him. He gasped softly as he
thrust lightly into her mouth, tensing as she swallowed around him reflexively
and held him steady.
Growling as she stood up, Yuuske glared at her with desire.
“Why’d ya stop?” he whined petulantly.
Chuckling softly, Naria wrapped her arms around his neck.
“I healed you…what more do you want?” she asked innocently, her eyes twinkling
with desire and amusement.
“I’m still aching…” Yuuske purred out as he pushed her
slowly into the wall of the shower, then spread her legs. He smirked as she
moaned softly and her head tossed as he pushed his fingers into her. “Ah
yes…this’ll ease it very nicely…just a little prepping…”
“Yuuske…oh gods…don’t stop…” Naria whimpered out as she
gasped, arching against him as her hands clutched his arms. She gasped again as
his fingers moved harder into her, making her cry out in pleasure.
“Don’t worry, baby…I ain’t stopping for nothing,” Yuuske
purred out as he grinned then pulled his fingers from her. Before she could moan
at the loss, he pressed his cock into her slowly and steadily. She moaned again
as he brought her legs up, bracing against the wall as he began thrusting into
her hard. They clung to each other as he moved, finding their rhythm swiftly as
their pleasure mounted. Yuuske leaned his head in for a bruising kiss as he
moved harder, swallowing her cries for more as he growled. With twin cries of
ecstasy, they jerked and shuddered together in climax, the soft glow of the
Bocchi spell crashing over them as they came together.
“Oh yea…chi boost…got you real good…” Yuuske panted out
softly as he held her close to him, their shudders slowing as the hot water
pounded on them.
Laughing softly, Naria kissed him slowly. “Dork…that’s all
you want from me…” she commented teasingly.
“Hell no! I love the sex…your body as it moves with
mine…your cries of pleasure as I bring you over again….” Yuuske whispered softly
as he caressed her lips with his own.
She moaned softly as she arched close to him again. “Don’t
or we’ll want to do it again…” she whispered softly as she slipped off of him.
“Oh yea like that’s a bad thing!” Yuuske replied with a
chuckle as he pulled her to him again and kissed her soft and lovingly. He ran
his fingers in her hair, then grabbed the conditioner. “Let’s finish this up and
get out so we don’t become prunes,” he stated with a wink as he began applying
it to her hair.
Purring softly, Naria winked at him. “Like you’d mind,” she
murmured coyly.
“Hell no…but I hear a nice bed calling us for more,” Yuuske
purred out as he kissed her again. They finished up and got out, toweling off as
they caught up on what had happened over the week. Yuuske sat on the bed and
sighed as he looked up at the ceiling, having pulled on some pants as he
relaxed. He felt too energized to really sleep and he wasn’t sure he should have
sex again with Naria, because of the spell.
“Deep thoughts, love?” Naria asked as she came out, combing
her hair. She smirked and wagged her finger as she saw him check her out. “Now
now…none of that,” she admonished with a chuckle.
“Aw but baaaaaabe! You look so hot and delicious!!” Yuuske
whined playfully as he patted his lap. He licked his lips as he took in the
short blue and purple robe that didn’t hide too much of the chest or legs. “Good
thing I’m the only one who gets to see you as thus,” he purred out as he winked
at her.
She shook her head and laughed softly. “Sorry, babe…but I
promised to heal Kuwabara and Kurama, remember?” she replied as she put her hair
back into a ponytail.
Yuuske’s eye twitched as he stared at her.
“You’re…kidding….right? I mean…Kuwabara will prolly either jump you or nosebleed
if he saw you!!” he stated in disbelief as he gestured at her outfit.
Sighing, Naria turned to him. “I’m sorry, but it’s all the
hotel had! I don’t have any spare clothes!” she exclaimed as she glared at him
and crossed her legs. “I think I can handle Kuwabara very well, thank you,” she
added as she stuck her nose in the air snootily.
“Yea? And what about Kurama? He’s a demon you know…” Yuuske
commented as he watched her.
“I know,” Naria murmured softly as she looked down at her
hands. “Yuuske…what are your feelings for Kurama?” she asked softly, startling
her love.
“Kurama?! Well I…” Yuuske trailed off as he looked down at
the floor. What was Kurama to him? “He’s my friend, that’s for sure. I’d trust
him with my life.” He bit his lip as he thought about his friend and felt
something else bubble inside of him.
“Yuuske…do you remember the tattoo that you saw on my
shoulder?” Naria asked quietly as she gazed at her folded hands.
“Yea, the one that you said is a spell and a pact with some
demon clan, right?” Yuuske asked as he gazed at her. She nodded silently and he
felt confusion inside of him. “So…what about it?”
“The demon clan is…Kurama’s demon clan,” Naria replied softly, hesitantly as she
looked at her clenched hands. “Centuries ago, the demon slayers had all but
wiped out his clan, killing all of the females. Our family clans were…well, we
worked together in many things. The head of their clan came to my great great
grandfather and asked us for help. So, it was decided then that a spell would be
cast upon both our families. The women of my clan would be born with this tattoo
and the ability to mate with Kurama’s clan, giving them the children so that
they could survive,” she explained softly, staring blankly at her hands. She
didn’t want to see Yuuske’s face as she spoke of this ancient pact.
“I…see. So…you plan on having sex with Kurama, huh?” Yuuske
remarked softly as he watched her. He should have felt hurt…angered…but he
didn’t feel anything. Just numb. ‘No…not numb. More like…touched?’ he thought to
himself as he watched her.
Sighing softly, Naria let her sleeve slip down, revealing
the now pulsing tattoo. “It’s a calling, Yuuske. I can’t avoid it. Kurama’s
people and mine…we were always there for each other. Even growing up, I knew the
Youko very well. But they have started getting killed again, demons angered at
the ‘betrayer’ Kurama. Their people…and mine….are dying. I…I need to do this,
Yuuske. Please…” she whispered softly as she looked up at him, tears in her
eyes.
But, if she had been expecting rage, she was shocked to
find none. Yuuske got up slowly and walked over to her, kneeling in front of her
as he took her hands. “Please what? Get in the way of what must be?” Yuuske
smirked as he looked up at her. “I must admit…I’m envious. But of who, I’m not
sure,” he commented with a slight chuckle before sighing sadly. “You sleeping
with Kurama…can I watch?”
Naria’s breath hitched in surprise as she stared at her lover. “Yuuske? I…”
“Yea, weird request right? You’d think I’d be straight and narrow…” Yuuske
muttered self-deprecatingly. “But the fact of the matter is, I think I love
Kurama like I love you. He…understands me, just like you. And hell if he ain’t a
hottie! And…he’s always been special to me, with everything that’s happened,” he
explained with a smile as he squeezed her hands.
“Yuuske…if I mate with him, it’s a life bond. We are bound
to each other through it,” Naria whispered softly as she gazed into his eyes.
“So…I guess we’ll just have to see what he feels about me,
huh? Cuz, like it or not…I’m not going to lose you,” Yuuske replied softly as he
gazed at her steadily.
She smiled softly and closed her eyes, nodding. “I will see
then what he feels for you. I will have to do some special things to get his
Youko form out…but, once it is started, it won’t take long. At least…that part
won’t,” she stated with a soft chuckle.
“Oh? Mind sharing?” Yuuske asked with a sly grin.
She hit him on the shoulder, grinning. “Dork! Well…if you
must know. When one of his clan mates, they are joined for at least an hour to
ensure fertilization,” she clarified as she cocked an eyebrow at him in
amusement.
“Inside of you for an hour?! Damn now I AM jealous!” Yuuske
cried as he rubbed the back of his head and laughed. She giggled softly and
shook her head at him and he smiled back. He pulled her to him in a hug, kissing
her softly. She melted in his arms as they kissed, sighing softly as he held
her. “I’m proud of you, Naria…I know how scary that must have been to tell me.
But, you chose the right person. Now…the ball’s in his court,” Yuuske praised
softly as he nuzzled her hair. “Did you want me around or is this private and a
‘come back later’ thing?” he asked softly as he rubbed her back.
Biting her lip slightly, Naria was silent for a bit before
replying. “I think, for now, just stay away for a while. I don’t know how long
it’ll take me to…get past Kurama as his human form. And…and I don’t want you to
see me taken by him,” she whispered softly. She put her fingers on his lips to
stop him from protesting. “I know you won’t mind…but it still feels like I am
betraying you. I’ll get over it…but just let me wallow in it for a while, k?”
she pleaded, trying to smile.
Yuuske shook his head, smiling softly. “All right…but I
know you are wrong. Love knows,” he chided softly before kissing her gently. He
felt her sob slightly and smiled sadly as he nibbled on her lips before kissing
her again and lifting her up. “Well, I’m going to take a walk then and train
some to get this energy out! I’ll be back later!” he called as he headed for the
door with a backward wave. He looked over his shoulder at her and smiled
lovingly. "I love you…don’t forget it,” he said softly. He grinned as she opened
her mouth to reply before looking away, then stepped out. ‘Someday you’ll say it
to me, my love…I look forward to it,’ he thought with a warm smile as he headed
outside.
Naria stared at her hands as she tried to rein in her
wheeling thoughts and emotions. She knew she cared deeply for Yuuske but had
been unable to say those words to him as of yet. Shaking her head as she took a
steeling breath, Naria got up and smirked. ‘Time to heal some teammates,’ she
thought in amusement and headed out of her room to Kuwabara’s room.
